Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how codepappa ("I", "me", or "my") collects, uses, and handles information when you visit codepappa.com or use the Chalk It In iOS app.

1. Information I Collect

Website (codepappa.com)

This is a static website. It does not use analytics, tracking scripts, cookies, or any form of user accounts. No personal data is collected when you browse the site.

Chalk It In (iOS App)

The app works without an account:

  • Saved links, schedules, labels and takeaways are stored on your device. When iCloud is available and enabled, supported content can sync automatically through your private iCloud database. Optional backups create additional snapshots in that same private database.
  • I do not operate a bookmark-content server and do not have developer access to read that private database. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy practices.
  • With your permission, the app uses PostHog for pseudonymous analytics of app flows and trial, purchase and restore outcomes. RevenueCat manages purchase validation and Pro access with a separate identifier. The app does not sell data or use it for targeted advertising.

2. Contact Communications

If you email me at admin@codepappa.com, I will only use the information you provide to respond to your message. I will not add you to any mailing list or share your details with third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Apple / iCloud
CloudKit sync is handled by Apple. If you use iCloud sync, your data is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store
App downloads and any future in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

4. Children's Privacy

My products are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

5. Changes to This Policy

If I make material changes to this website policy, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and describe those changes. Changes to the Chalk It In app policy are described on the app policy page, and consent will be requested where required by applicable law.
